East-West University is delighted to announce the publication of multiple research articles by Dr. Lamara Kadagidze, an invited professor who has brought valuable insights to areas such as medical communication, cultural dynamics, and mental health.

In November 2024, trainings organized by the "East-West University", were held, including following directions: 1.“Basic LIfe Support and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (BLS 2.Cardiovascular Resuscitation and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)” 3. Training on Intercultural Communication for Midwifes and Nurses. Within the framework of these trainings, the attendees received a lot of new information and deepened both theoretical and practical knowledge.

The Quality Department of East-West University recently held a meeting with students to discuss a variety of exciting topics, including extracurricular activities, the possibility of opening students’ clubs, and the development of student self-government. We are excited to continue enhancing student life and fostering a vibrant campus community!

In November 2024, "East-West University" professor Shalva Giuashvili visited Seoul, South Korea as part of a 1-month fellowship. A training course was conducted at the Department of Liver, Pancreatic and Biliary Surgery, as well as the Robotic Surgery Department of Seoul National University Hospital (SNUBH). Also, during this period, he participated in the 76th Congress of the Korean Society of Surgeons (KSS 2024 congress).

From October 31 to November 3, 2024, Mariam Beria, Coordinator of the educational process management service at "East-West University”, visited canton of Zurich in connection with the Youth Regional Network (YRN) Capacity Building event. During her visit, she participated in a series of discussions, training seminars, and cultural and social activities. A key highlight of the event was a study visit to the University of Zurich, where valuable insights and opportunities were explored.

On October 10-11 of 2024, the 4th international scientific-practical conference "Telecommunications and Security" was held in Tbilisi. The conference was held within the framework of the conference grant funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and its organizers are Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA) and Internet Development Initiative (IDI).

On June 22-23, 2024, an educational exhibition "OKEF ALGERIA" was held in Algeria, organized by "OK TAMAM" company, in which, along with many leading universities, "East-West University" took part. Within the framework of the exhibition, our representative met with representatives of many successful universities. And most importantly, to potential students, informed them about the university and the opportunities we offer them.

On 19th of may, 2024, "graduation ceremony" was held for university graduates, during the evening they were presented with certificates. "East-West University" congratulates the students on graduating from the university, wishes them success in the new stage of life!
