SPHERE 2025 Annual Conference & Bologna Symposium
From October 1–3, 2025, the SPHERE 2025 Annual Conference and Bologna Symposium was held at the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Romania, organized by the European Commission (EACEA), OBREAL Global, and the European University Association (EUA).
By special invitation, Professor Natia Zedginidze-Jishkariani, First Vice President of East-West University and ERASMUS+ Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE) of Georgia, participated in the event.
The conference brought together representatives from ministries, higher education institutions, ERASMUS+ National Offices, and Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) to discuss the development trends of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and its global significance.
Professor Natia Zedginidze, Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE), delivered a summary presentation on the outcomes of the Bologna Process in Georgia’s higher education system and the country’s future strategic objectives.
The discussions focused on higher education reform, transnational cooperation, digitalization of education, and the role of global collaboration in enhancing quality and strengthening institutional governance.
