On October 22, in Prague, at the Columna Congress Center, the international conference – “Bridges
2025” was held, where one of the keynote speakers was Professor Jiří Dostál, Professor of school of
medicine at East-West University (Powered by Arizona State University), Head of the
Continuing Education Department.

Professor Dostál’s presentation generated significant interest among participants. He discussed crucial topics such as importance of physiological adaptation, balanced workload, and the integration of scientific principles into education and practice. He also emphasized that the body’s physiological responses are essential not only for sports, but also for medicine, rehabilitation, and health sciences.

The knowledge and experience shared by Professor Dostál in the areas of physiology and human systemic functions help EWU medical students — future doctors — gain a better understanding of health, recovery, and body mechanisms, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and foster their professional development.
