Admission Requirements for Applicants
At East-West University Powered by Arizona State University, enrollment in the Medicine Program is possible through the Unified National Examinations or by mobility.
The first special requirement for admission to the educational program concerns the level of English language proficiency. When enrolling through the Unified National Examinations, the minimum threshold of English language competency is set at 80% of the maximum score in the English language exam.
The second special requirement concerns the level of knowledge in the basic disciplines (Biology, Chemistry). When enrolling through the Unified National Examinations, applicants must take Biology and Chemistry exams, and the minimum threshold of competency in each subject is 50% of the maximum score in that exam.
Required Documents:
- Copy of passport or ID card;
- Military service certificate for male applicants (original and copy);
- Original or notarized copy of the secondary education certificate;
- Three printed photos (3×4).
International Students
At East-West University Powered by Arizona State University, foreign citizens and stateless individuals who have completed secondary or equivalent education in another country may be admitted to the Medicine Program without passing the Unified National Examinations.
The first special requirement for admission to the educational program concerns the level of English language proficiency. Applicants admitted without the Unified National Examinations are required to provide a certificate confirming at least B1 level English language competence or pass an English proficiency exam administered by the university.
The second special requirement concerns the level of knowledge in the basic disciplines (Biology, Chemistry). Applicants admitted without the Unified National Examinations must provide a document confirming their competency in Biology and Chemistry (e.g., results of the national examinations from their home country) or pass a competency exam in these subjects administered by the university.
Required Documents:
- Notarized copy of passport;
- For stateless persons, notarized copy of residence permit instead of passport;
- Notarized copy of the secondary education certificate or equivalent obtained abroad;
- Three printed photos (3×4).
