East-West University recently hosted an expert workshop focused on AI adoption and EU AI Act readiness among Georgian enterprises, welcoming Dr Colin Rigby from Keele University.

The workshop brought together perspectives from academia, business and regulation to examine how Georgian enterprises are currently adopting artificial intelligence and to review the project’s survey framework. Discussions also explored valuable lessons from the UK and Western Europe, offering broader context for understanding the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption in Georgia.

The session provided an important opportunity to exchange expertise, refine the research approach and discuss the next steps for the project.
