The workshop was led by Agueda Benito, Chief Academic Officer at Cintana Education, and Nezha Alami, Academic Vice President at Cintana Education. Under their leadership, the meeting focused on strategic program development and the effective integration of ASU’s academic frameworks.

University deans, program chairs, and academic staff participated in the session. Working groups actively collaborated on several key areas:

  • Curriculum Development: Modernizing syllabi in accordance with international standards.
  • Learning Outcomes: Increasing the focus on students acquiring specific knowledge and practical skills during the teaching process.
  • ASU Integration: Implementing Arizona State University’s academic content and “Powered by ASU” components into the programs.

As Nezha Alami noted:

“The goal of the workshop is to work closely with East-West University’s academic staff to jointly develop academic excellence and offer students a transformative, high-quality learning experience.”

This collaboration enables the university to implement high standards of American education into the learning process and strengthens students’ competitiveness in both local and international markets.
