“East-west University Support” Grant

East-West University is committed to ensuring equal access to education and supporting students’ social well-being. The “East-west University Support” Grant aims to encourage and assist students who are facing various social or economic challenges. The program provides partial tuition funding and promotes academic progress through accessible education.

To be eligible for the grant, a student must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • If two or more members of the same family are enrolled at the university simultaneously, one family member is eligible for a 30% tuition discount.
If tuition fees differ, the discount is calculated based on the average of the two tuition amounts.
Note: A “family member” is defined according to Georgian legislation and must be confirmed with a legally valid document.
  • If the student comes from a family living below the poverty line and does not receive government funding, the tuition fee is reduced by 40%.
Note: This status must be confirmed with a legally issued document from the relevant authority.
  • If the student is a child of a person who died in the fight for Georgia’s territorial integrity and does not receive government funding, the tuition fee is reduced by 40%.
Note: Appropriate documentation must be provided from the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.
  • If the student has a minor child or children and/or belongs to a family living below the poverty line, the tuition fee is reduced by 20%.
  • Other specific cases in which the university reserves the right to support students through the “East-west University Support” grant, based on individual consideration.
